Our BACKPACA Alpaca Sock is a lightweight hiker sock designed for you to forget it's even on while you march through the wilderness.

Lightweight - SOLE Cushion - Crew Hiker

Terry loop construction along the sole of the foot provides cushion, padding, and comfort where it's most needed.

The ribbed knit along the top of the foot and up the calf allow for increased breath-ability and moisture wicking.

Dense knit construction along with arch and ankle support bands keep the sock tightly in place throughout the day without bunching, slipping, or blisters on the trail.

U.S. Alpaca will keep its temperature regulating properties when dry or wet. It's also naturally hypoallergenic (unlike sheep’s wool!), antimicrobial, bacteria and odor resistant, making it a perfect fit for that next long outdoor adventure.

If you love U.S. Alpaca Socks and have wished for a lightweight, less bulky option, without sacrificing warmth, comfort, and performance then this is the sock for you!

Content: 60% U.S. Alpaca, 35% Recycled Nylon, and 5% Lycra.

Care Instructions: Gentle Wash & Tumble Low - See Label for Details

Alpaca Key Farm contributes a portion of our annual fiber harvest to the Alpaca Fiber Pool each year. As the Grower of the raw material, we care for the alpaca herd year round, feeding them, cleaning up after them, maintaining pastures and barns, taking care of routine health needs, and shearing them once a year. Once the fiber is collected, we prepare it for various uses by sorting through each fleece and cleaning out any debris. Each fleece is then sent on for it's own particular best use, whether it be a fleece show, sent to a mill for yarn or roving, sold as raw fleece for hand spinning or sent to the fiber pool. The fiber pool knits these high quality products using using only USA alpaca, made in the USA.
